Temperature range, -269°c to +315°c (-452°f to +600°f). joint sealant distributed by Sterling seal is common for applications in the following industries: - distillers, petrochemical, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, general chemical, power generation, iron and steel manufacturing, pulp and paper and marine. Because of its superior chemical and thermal properties, PTFE is often used as a gasket material. It is suitable for all types of flanges, nearly all media, a wide temperature range and for applications with the toughest demands on purity.
